Shipping Policy

We currently deliver orders within the United States, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico only.

Back Orders

Every effort is made to ship orders on time. In the event that an item is on backorder, you will be notified and offered a substitute to your item. We will also give you an expected time frame when the item will be available for shipping.

Returns, Exchanges and Cancellations

What is your return policy?
Our policy is that you may exchange your book for a new copy if your book arrives to you in unsatisfactory condition. All books are inspected before shipping for damages or any defects but, in the event that your book arrives to you in unsatisfactory condition, we will replace your book at no charge to you. Exchanges are only made for defective books and must be made within 7 days of receiving shipment. All exchanges must be returned directly to Opus Americana, Inc. using the ORIGINAL PACKAGING and MUST be returned with the original shipping box. Opus Americana is not responsible for lost or stolen packages on exchanged items. You must contact us for an RMA number before any exchange can be processed. No exchange will be processed without an RMA number. To receive an RMA number, please call us at (813) 774-6621 or email us at info@opusamericana.com.

We cannot accept exchanges for any edition of Opus Americana where personalization has been added. We cannot offer refunds or exchanges for a future edition of Opus Americana for any typographical or grammatical errors found.

Please allow 2-4 weeks for processing of exchanges. We are not responsible for lost or stolen return packages and we strongly suggest you insure your return shipment. Please provide us with a tracking number to help us expedite your exchange.

Why must I call for an RMA number to exchange my purchase?
Each return mailing label is coded for a specific shipment. Each exchanged item must have its own RMA number and shipping label to ensure that you receive your new book. If you received an item in error, Opus Americana will pay for the shipping costs associated with returning that item. To receive an RMA number, please call us at Phone: (813) 774-6621 or email us.
3. I received one of your books as a gift. How do I return a gift?

You may receive a credit for a future purchase from Opus Americana, Inc. All returns must have an RMA number and must be returned in the original shipping packaging. Please contact us to obtain an RMA number. Items with personalization cannot be returned as these items are not in resalable condition.

How do I pack and return an item?
Call us for an RMA number at: (813) 774-6621 and to inform us of the defect. Pack the items in the original shipping packaging including the original packaging slip and ship back to us via your chosen shipping method. We are not responsible for lost or stolen return packages and we strongly suggest you insure your return shipment. Please provide us with a tracking number to help us expedite your return.

Cancellations

Cancellation requests cannot be guaranteed.

Product Limited Warranty

Standard Edition

The Standard Edition Opus comes with a 15 day limited manufacturer defect warranty. If there is a manufacturer defect, we will replace your book at no cost to you. You must contact us for an RMA number before any warranty claim can be processed. No warranty claim will be processed without an RMA number.

Magnus Edition

The Magnus Edition Opus comes with a 30 day limited manufacturer defect warranty. If there is a manufacturer defect, we will replace your book at no cost to you. This warranty DOES NOT cover scratching on the flag cover emblems or the personalized engraved plate due to shifting of the book once the protective shipping foam has been removed. You must contact us for an RMA number before any warranty claim can be processed. No warranty claim will be processed without an RMA number.

Leather Color

We cannot guarantee that the color of the leather represented on our website or in any other advertising will match directly the item that you receive due to color variations on different monitors and color printers.

Please note: The irregularities and variations of color, shading and texture, and the imperfections (wrinkles, veins, scratches) are natural characteristics of leather and are authentic features of the grain. These irregularities add to its natural and unique beauty and in no way are to be considered defects or damages. No two items will be exactly the same – this is your best guarantee of its authenticity.
